Today’s conversation is a must for all my fellow travel lovers and anyone whose business has been derailed by circumstances outside of your control.
We’re chatting with Tara Cappel, the founder and CEO of one of the fastest growing group travel companies in the US. Her company, FTLO Travel, hosts group trips for solo travelers in their 20s and 30s who are looking to connect with new people through sustainable, curated travel experiences in amazing destinations around the world. Similar to my own journey from Cubicle to CEO, Tara left her corporate job without a backup plan to leap into entrepreneurship. In this conversation, we talk about what she would have done differently in her business if she could start over, why FTLO Travel advocates for sustainable, slow tourism, and how she has pivoted her company multiple times through difficult situations, most recently in the midst of a global pandemic that shut down travel for months.

We recently celebrated the one year anniversary of this show! To celebrate we decided to host a fun giveaway and invite five listeners to come on the show and ask me any question they had about their business, and I would answer it hot-seat style. So, that’s this episode! We have five amazing business owners asking really insightful questions that I think a lot of you will find really beneficial, not only to have those questions answered, but to know that you’re not alone in this thing called entrepreneurship!

I have become a mindset junkie over the last few years and truly believe it’s the key to unlocking your success as a business owner, so I’m thrilled to be talking with Amanda Daley today about the huge issue of burnout that plagues so many entrepreneurs.
Before Amanda started her 7-figure business training health coaches, she was a member of the burnt-out advertising executive club.
In this episode, we dive into Amanda’s personal health journey recovering from stage 3 adrenal fatigue, starting and sticking to a morning routine, unpacking toxic money beliefs, and how to incorporate both feminine and masculine energies to build a successful business.
Listen in to this episode to learn more about the importance of rest and how to build rest into your daily work schedule to avoid burnout.

We’re continuing our podcast expert series today with Kelly Glover, founder of The Talent Squad. Driven by the core belief that your personal brand is your most valuable asset, Kelly books podcast tours for entrepreneurs so they can increase their credibility, authority, visibility, and influence.
Kelly got her start in media as a red carpet correspondent, but reveals in this episode why it’s more interesting interviewing normal people rather than celebrities.
We chat about how to best prep for your interviews and make the most of your podcast appearances post-interview, booking your own podcast tours on other people’s shows, why you don’t need to have or be on a show with millions of listeners to create impact, and the anatomy of a perfect podcast pitch that will get you noticed and booked on your dream shows.

Welcome back to another quarterly income report! This episode is super special because it's the one year anniversary of this podcast! I can't believe this podcast has been around for a full year. I looked at the stats recently, and discovered that our little podcast has been listened to in 1300 cities across the globe! I am so full of gratitude to all of you guys who have supported this passion project by listening, leaving reviews, and coming alongside me in my journey. THANK YOU.
In this episode, I break down how I made over $100K so far this quarter, some of the biggest changes I've made in the last three months (hiring my first full-time employee), how my $27 tiny offer made 40% of my revenue this quarter, and the importance of pivoting and persisting in business.
If you want to learn more about what a tiny offer is, and how you can create a profitable tiny offer for your business, check out my good friend Allie Bjerk's program, Tiny Offer Lab.

If you’re familiar with my six figures in six months income report, today’s guest is the woman who inspired it. In early 2018, I discovered Elise Darma’s blog where she shared her income reports at the end of every month, detailing how much revenue she made in the business, where she spent her money, what her profit margins were, and how much she paid herself. I was inspired by her transparency and tired of the lack of accountability from industry gurus who made flashy claims about their earnings without revealing expenses or profits, so I decided to release my own monthly income reports from January through July of 2019.
We discussed both the benefits and drawbacks of sharing your personal finances with the Internet in depth in today’s episode. For those of you who are unfamiliar...

We’re back to talk about all things money, wealth, and investing in another finance focused episode - this time with Ryan Lee, co-founder of Cashflow Tactics. Now Ryan happens to be one of my trusted financial advisors as well as one of my favorite humans, and he and the team at Cashflow Tactics are on a mission to help everyone - whether you’re working a corporate job or working for yourself - become financially free...
My favorite part of recording this podcast is being exposed to new and different worlds in the online space, and this week’s guest - Yan Stavisski - is introducing us to the fascinating world of travel hacking and credit hacking, the practice of leveraging credit to produce positive cashflow.
Yan went from drowning in $82,000 of credit card debt just 3 years ago to running a 7 figure company by the age of 25. He did this all while traveling 47 countries and getting nearly $500,000 worth of first class flights and travel perks for free. Yan shares some really interesting insights with us today, but I want to preface our conversation by reminding you that nothing in this episode should be taken as legal financial advice from Yan or myself as a prescription for what you should do. This is simply Yan sharing his own story and his unique experiences. As with all financial strategies, there is risk and personal responsibility involved.
My hope is this episode...
